1.) Our ward here in High River always has a nativity display which is amazing. There are hundreds of different nativities or "creches" that the ward members and community display. There is beautiful music and we always sing in it as a family. It is such a great spiritual way to start the Christmas season.
2.) The kids got to see Santa and tell him what they wanted at the town's Craft Fair.
3.) This was the first year we actually made a 'gingerbread house' and that kind of Christmassy stuff. We made them out of Rice Krispy squares. It was pretty fun. And very memorable.
4.) An early Christmas with My side of the family (the ones who live in Canada),here in High River. We made our own Christmas dinner (which happened to be awesome)and then we sang carols and watched movies and in the morning opened gifts and had a yummy breakfast etc...
5.) Christmas dinner with Gord's side of the family, which is always great and definetely delicious. There were more gifts and more fun times! On Boxing day the women of the family and some friends got together for a "craft day" We had a blast making vinyl signs. The one Luiza is holding up says "Dear Santa...I can explain!" And that about explains it all!
